Looking north across two-sided podium or counter, showing holes for two of the three urns, in the front part.
According to Sogliano, the receding part of the counter was very damaged when found.
The outside surface of the rear part was covered with stucco painted in red; the upper part had fragments of slabs of marble embedded into it.

According to Sogliano, this wall had a doorway leading into the rear room, on the left. The wall also had a window towards the right.

On the left (south-west corner) can be seen the remains of the masonry hearth, that had an arch below.
